Maximov pulls his limb free and then frames down on the face to keep his opponent on the floor. Brundage hits the deck and again tries to attack the arm. Maximov scores with a left and then is inside on the takedown again. Brundage with a nice left hand on the restart. Not there, but it creates a scramble and gets him away. Nice low kick from Brundage, followed by a crisp jab. Brundage pumps out the jab, but Maximov scores with a counter left. Maximov ducks under a punch and wants the takedown, but it’s not there. Morales works to his knees and then stands, but Pearce is still on his back. Morales feels it and turns, but he’s still got his opponent on his back. Morales tries to spin, and Morales setting up the arm-triangle as he slides to mount. Pearce slips out and scrambles and is on the back. Morales instantly counters with a choke from the front, but the squeeze isn’t there. He tries to slip to the back, but Morales is able to post and shake him off the top. Pearce gets low on a single and runs the pipe. Round 2 – Pearce unsurprisingly into the clinch almost immediately. Close round, but MMA Junkie leans toward Morales, 10-9. Morales quick to scramble to his feet yet again, but he can’t create any space. Morales gets to his knees and then his feet. Morales quick to sweep to the top in a nice counter, but Pearce again lifts him and slams him to the canvas. Pearce keeps the bodylock and is able to lift Morales and slam him to the canvas. Morales stands and turns inside, landing a few knees inside. He drags Morales to the floor and tries to slip to the back. Pearce pushes forward with punches and is able to get inside on a takedown. Morales with a clean jab that pops his opponent’s head back. Pearce switching stances and looking to go first, but Morales is countering well to start. Pearce again leans forward with a punch, but Morales slips and delivers a counter right. Morales slips on a kick but pops right back to his feet. Pearce forward on a right hand to the body.
